Calling all aspiring bakers! Middle schoolers will love to get their hands sticky in the kitchen as they create a variety of sweet and savory baked goods.
In this eight-session class, students will explore different doughs and batters while baking homemade goodies from start to finish. We’ll be mixing up savory scones, apple galette, milk bread, profiteroles, challah bread, alfajores, and more! Young chefs will learn foundational baking techniques like kneading, mixing, measuring, and ingredient selection, along with some fun expert chef tips and tricks along the way.
This class will be taught by Renana Shvil from Fiddleheads Cooking Studio. Please note that we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment for this class. If your child is interested and has food restrictions of any kind, please feel free to email [email protected] to discuss whether this class will be appropriate and safe for your child.
Bus transportation is available directly from WMS to the farm - be sure to have your children get on Bus 1!
