Tiny Sprouts Fall 2024

Welcome to Lachat's Tiny Sprouts Program!  This is the perfect first drop-off program for families looking to provide their littles ages 2-4 with a nature focused experience and small, intimate classes.  Our experienced teachers provide children with the opportunity to engage in guided play in the outdoors, develop their natural curiosity, build independence, and learn creativity as they explore and engage with the beautiful woods, flora and fauna of Lachat Town Farm. Introducing kids to the outdoors early on in life teaches them to problem solve, climb higher, rely on their senses, test their boundaries, observe, cultivate a sense of place and self, get messy, regulate stress, build immunity, gain perspective and feel connected to the wild! 

This is a drop off program, and kids should bring a change of clothes, snack, and water bottle with them each day.  Additionally, children should come prepared with clothing/gear appropriate for the weather and active exploration outdoors (a list of required gear will be provided to all families).  Please note that children must be working towards potty training to participate.  That means no diapers or onesies, but pull-ups and clothing that allow children to try to use the potty during class are acceptable.

Tiny Sprouts will be held regardless of the weather as long as safety is not a concern.  Note that due to the ongoing schedule of this program, make-ups will not be provided in the event class needs to be cancelled due to unsafe road conditions.  There will be no class when Weston schools are closed.  Scheduled days off are Oct 3, Nov 5, Nov 27, and Nov 28.  

Registration for the Winter/Spring session will open in October, with priority given to families registered for the fall session to allow for continuity.  Because of the limited number of spots available, we are not able to offer refunds for participant cancellations.  In the event that your child is no longer able to attend and we are able to fill the spot from a waitlist, we will be able to provide a 90% refund.
