School’s Out - Spring Explorers

Let's be nature explorers! Spring is right around the corner and soon we get to see all the exciting things that it brings.

During this adventurous day we will use our senses to explore and look for clues about all the local biodiversity. We will examine things like bugs, plants, nature sounds, bird calls, natural instruments, wonderful smells and much more!  Each child will be encouraged to use their senses to help them get a better understanding of their natural surroundings and the upcoming season. While we explore the outdoors, everyone gets to draw, scratch, doodle, imprint, or stain a page of their nature notebooks. Each child will leave with a nature detective notebook with some hand drawn clues to bring home. We are looking forward to seeing you! 

This program takes place primarily outdoors, so dress your children for the weather and for active exploration of the farm.  Don't forget to pack a snack and a water bottle for this day of exploration!
