Take a culinary trip across Italy at Lachat Town Farm! Students will experience the best Italian food, cuisine and gastronomy of various regions of Italy through hands-on cooking classes. During the Taste of Italy workshop, our kitchen will be transformed into a real "playroom of taste." Through creative play activities, students use their imagination to learn how to prepare and cook delicious Italian dishes. Each week, your children will be guided by Vita Palmeri, the original Italian Foodie, as she takes all she has learned from the expert hands of her family and passes on these authentic Italian techniques and recipes. Your Young Chef will discover the basics of cooking and how to make dishes from different regions in Italy. WIS students can take the bus directly to Lachat after school - be sure to choose "Lachat Town Farm - Bus 6" each week in School Dismissal Manager!
