Tiny Sprouts Fall 2026

Welcome to Lachat’s Tiny Sprouts Program—our gentle introduction to drop-off programming for young children who are ready to explore, play, and grow in a small, nurturing environment. Designed for ages 2–4, Tiny Sprouts offers an intimate, nature-based experience where children are supported by experienced teachers as they engage in guided play, build independence, and follow their natural curiosity.

Each class invites children to explore the woods, gardens, and farm landscape at Lachat Town Farm through hands-on discovery and imaginative play. Along the way, they’ll climb, observe, get messy, use their senses, and connect with the natural world, building confidence, creativity, resilience, and a sense of place. Early outdoor experiences help children develop problem-solving skills, regulate stress, strengthen immunity, and foster a lifelong appreciation for nature.

Tiny Sprouts is a drop-off program. Children should arrive dressed for active outdoor exploration in all kinds of weather (a detailed gear list will be provided). Participants must be working toward potty training—no diapers or onesies, please. Pull-ups and clothing that allow children to attempt using the potty during class are welcome.

Classes are held rain or shine, unless weather conditions pose a safety concern. There will be no class when Weston schools are closed. Scheduled days off are November 3, 25, and 26. Due to the ongoing nature of this program, make-up classes are not offered if a session must be canceled because of unsafe road conditions.

Because spaces are limited, we’re unable to offer refunds for participant cancellations. If your child is unable to continue and we are able to fill the spot from our waitlist, a 90% refund will be issued. New this fall, families may choose to pay in full at registration or select a payment plan (available for the fall session only)!
