Best of Lachat: Cooking and Wilderness Spring Break Camp

We’re excited to introduce a special Spring Break camp that combines two of our most popular children’s programs — cooking and wilderness exploration! Children in grades K–5 are invited to join us from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM each day, with flexible registration so you can sign up for any number of days that fit your schedule.

Each morning begins in the kitchen with Chef Kathleen, where campers will explore new recipes, discover fresh ingredients, and build confidence through hands-on cooking. Children will practice essential kitchen skills while working together to prepare and enjoy a delicious homemade lunch.

After lunch, the adventure continues outdoors with our nature instructor, Christina, as campers head out onto the farm to explore the changing season and search for signs of spring. Afternoons will include nature exploration, games, free play, and plenty of fresh air — a chance to emerge from winter hibernation just like the wildlife that calls Lachat home.
