Long before machines filled factories and cities, some of the best engineering happened on farms—where curious minds figured out how to build, fix, and create using what they had around them. In Budding Engineers, young learners will discover that engineering can start right in a field, a barn, or a garden! In this hands-on, farm-inspired program, children will design, build, and test simple creations using everyday materials. From making structures that can stand strong like a chicken coop to keep the chickens safe to solving fun “farm challenges,” students will be encouraged to experiment, imagine, and think like real engineers—no experience needed. Come ready to tinker, build, and explore —farm style! 🚜⚙️🌳🌾 This class will be taught by Khyati Patel. Don’t forget to choose “Lachat Town Farm - Bus 6” if your child will be taking advantage of bus transportation from HES!
