Campfire Cooking

From the sun shining through bare trees, to the crunch of fresh snow, to the satisfying warmth of a campfire, winter is a treat for the senses. Your children may be used to the confines of a warm home during winter, but we’re here to offer you a unique opportunity to experience winter in all its glory! Children in grades 3-5 are invited to join us after school for Campfire Cooking, where each week we will build our own campfire and prepare a yummy treat to share. We have baked apples, pizza, mulled cider, popcorn, and so much more on our menu!

Please note that we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment for this class. If your child is interested and has food restrictions of any kind, please feel free to email [email protected] to discuss whether this class will be appropriate for your child.

This class will take place predominantly outdoors unless weather conditions are extreme, so please dress your child in warm layers with boots, hats, and mittens so that they remain happy and comfortable throughout the program. Don't forget to choose "Lachat Town Farm - Bus 6" if your child will be taking the bus from WIS!
