From the Heart: Kids Cooking Workshop

School’s out on Friday, February 13, and kids are invited to celebrate at Lachat with a special half-day, Valentine’s-themed cooking workshop! Participants will enjoy a mix of hands-on cooking and creative fun, including:

• Sweet: Roll out, bake, and decorate your own Valentine cookies to take home

• Savory: Learn how to make pink hummus and heart-shaped pita bread from scratch (you’ll never guess the secret ingredient!)

• Gifting: Head outdoors to forage for natural materials to create a simple winter bouquet, paired with a handmade card for someone special

This program is a festive way for kids to spend their day off—cooking, creating, and enjoying time at the farm with friends.
